Split View shows two open tabs side by side without reloading either one — each side keeps its scroll position, form data, and playing media. Right-click a tab and choose Open in split view, then pick the tab to pair it with.

  • Drag the divider to resize the two panes; the ratio you choose is remembered for next time.
  • Click a pane to focus it — the address bar, keyboard shortcuts, and DevTools all act on whichever pane is focused.
  • ⇄ Swap sides exchanges the two panes instantly, with no reload.
  • ✕ Exit split returns both tabs to the ordinary tab strip.
  • Each pane's header also has its own ⇄ (show a different tab in this pane) and ⤢ (send this tab back to the strip) buttons.

Tabs currently in a split are marked with ◻ in the tab strip. Selecting any other tab leaves the split.
