Symptoms

Clicking a download link does nothing, or a download seems to hang.

Likely causes

  • You (or a previous click) chose No on the confirmation prompt — Vodou never re-prompts automatically, so try the download again.
  • A misconfigured proxy blocking the connection.
  • The file is one of the "dangerous" types (.exe, .msi, etc.) and defaults to No — check you didn't miss that dialog.

Solutions

  1. Open the Downloads panel (Ctrl+J) and cancel any stuck item, then retry.
  2. Check your proxy settings if one is configured (Network proxy).
  3. Confirm the file isn't being blocked by your operating system or antivirus after Vodou saves it — that's outside Vodou's control once the file lands in Downloads.
