A page fails to load, or you see a full-page warning instead of the site you expected.

If you see a full-page warning

That's Vodou's own Deceptive-site protection or Safe Browsing, not a network problem — it means the address matched a look-alike/typosquat pattern or a known-bad domain list. Read the warning: it names the brand being imitated (for a deceptive-site warning) or tells you it matched a public block list (for Safe Browsing). Go back (safe) is the recommended choice unless you're confident the warning is a false positive, in which case Continue anyway trusts that host for the rest of your session.

If a page simply won't load

  • Check your network connection generally (try another site).
  • If you've configured a proxy (Network proxy), confirm it's actually reachable — a bad proxy blocks everything.
  • If it's Vodou's own search/home page not loading, the local SearXNG backend probably isn't running — see Search isn't working.
  • Try Ctrl+R / F5 to force a fresh fetch, bypassing the cache.
