☰ → Settings → Privacy & security → Location & region… lets you make sites see a different region: New York, London, Tokyo, Sydney, Paris, Berlin, Toronto, or São Paulo.
What's emulated natively
Language and locale are emulated at the engine level: navigator.language,
navigator.languages, the Accept-Language header, and (after a restart)
Intl date/number/currency formatting all reflect the chosen region.
Optional: geolocation & timezone
Tick "Also emulate geolocation & timezone" to additionally spoof
navigator.geolocation coordinates and the timezone seen by Intl/
Date, via a script injected before each page loads.
Honest scope: this geolocation/timezone emulation is script-based. It doesn't reach web/service workers, and a determined site can detect that it's being emulated. It does not change your real IP address — use a VPN or proxy for that.
Per-site overrides
Location → Per-site overrides… lets specific hosts have their own
geolocation and timezone, resolved per site, so different tabs can appear to be in different
regions at once. Browser language stays global, since one profile can't vary
Accept-Language per site without leaking across tabs.
Match VPN location
Location → Match VPN location… is an opt-in, one-shot lookup of your current public IP's approximate region (via ipwho.is), which it then emulates. It names the service, asks first, and only ever sees the IP address you're already browsing from — it does not change your IP. Vodou has no VPN client of its own and can't detect when your VPN connects or changes servers; you connect it yourself, then click this button.
Unchecking "Emulate a region…" turns emulation off again — it isn't "restore my real location," because Vodou never hands a site your real geolocation in the first place (see Location Guard above).
