Reporting directly from Vodou
The fastest way: ☰ menu → Help → Report an issue…. This opens a new GitHub issue with your environment pre-filled automatically — Vodou's version and exact git commit, the Chromium/Qt/PyQt/Python versions, and your operating system — so every report is tied to the precise code it's about.
What to include
- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead
- Steps to reproduce the problem
- Your Vodou version (☰ → Help → About Vodou…, or use the pre-filled template above)
- Your operating system
- Any error message or terminal output you saw
Where reports go
Vodou's official issue tracker is its GitHub repository's Issues page: github.com/MSteier/Vodou-Web-Browser/issues. You're also welcome to start a discussion or ask a question right here in the Vodou community — that's a good first stop if you're not sure yet whether something is a bug, or just want a second opinion before filing an issue.
Requesting a feature or sharing an idea
Feature ideas are also welcome as GitHub issues, or as an "Idea" post in the community board on this website. Since Vodou is open source, you're also welcome to open a pull request yourself — see the developer docs' Contributing page.
