From top to bottom, Vodou's window is laid out as:

  1. Tab bar — your open tabs, with a + button to open a new one.
  2. Address bar — back/forward/reload/home buttons, the address bar itself, and feature buttons: the AI (✨), key (🔑), and vault (🗄) icons, and the ☰ menu.
  3. Bookmarks bar — appears once you have at least one bookmark.
  4. The page itself.

The status bar along the bottom shows a live tracker-blocked counter, the running Vodou version (click it to open the GitHub repository), and a security indicator for the current page.

The security pill

Inside the address bar, a small colored indicator shows the connection state for the current page: a green closed padlock means verified HTTPS, a red open padlock means the connection is unencrypted, and a muted dot marks an internal Vodou page. Click it to open the full certificate viewer — see The certificate viewer.
